Holy Family Parish School of Religion (PSR) is a weekly religious instruction program for elementary school children attending public schools.  Parents are to bear the primary responsibility for the religious education and formation of their children.  The parents’ example and active faith life are extremely important in imparting Catholic beliefs and way of life to our children.
PSR registration forms for students new to the program appear in the Sunday bulletin in mid-summer.  PSR classes also help prepare children for the Sacraments of Penance, Eucharist, and Confirmation.   If you have any questions about signing your child(ren) up for PSR classes, call the parish office OR Sr. Yvonne Spenoso (440) 842-5533.

First Communion Preparation Team   large product photo

The First Holy Communion Preparation Team is made up of volunteer members of the parish.  They assist clergy in  conducting parent meetings for children who will be making their First Communion.  Volunteers assist as table discussion leaders.  This team leads discussions on topics of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.  By looking more deeply into the scriptures and the Church’s teachings, the parents are better able to lead their children in the true meaning of these sacraments. Serving refreshments: Working on discussion projects is not easy on an empty stomach.  Food and beverages are prepared and served by a dedicated team of these volunteers.
Sibling Program: During the parent discussion meetings, their children are provided age appropriate programs to occupy the children while their parents are meeting.  Another group of parish volunteers assist in these duties.
