As we prayerfully remember our deceased loved ones at the vigil Mass this weekend, we welcome all of our families who lost a loved one this year who returned to pray with us. Thanks to all who helped to coordinate the liturgy and reception for the families. Eternal rest grant unto them, Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and all the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
During this week, I will be out in the Philadelphia area as I was asked to chaplain a course for the Theology of the Body Institute on “Love and Responsibility” a philosophical reflection of John Paul II that developed into his broader teaching on humanity and sexuality (Theology of the Body). Please pray for a fruitful ministry for me and for a fruitful time for those attending the course.
It seems like a while away, but I can’t believe it’s already been almost 3 months since the Installation as Pastor! I have included the gift from the parish that came in and it is hanging up in the rectory. It is so beautiful and know I am continually grateful for all of your support and prayer! Thank you!!!
