Saints help the world to see God and desire Heaven. Be a saint!
If you didn’t last weekend, please take a poster of the seminarians of our diocese! We are incredibly blessed to have our seminaries, and they need our prayers as they discern. That poster gives us an amazing window into the future shepherds of the church. Pray that they may be saints.
THANK YOU for all who have responded to our parish Increased Offertory Program – Growing God’s Family! We have had an amazing and encouraging response so far, but we still have a way to go. Know that your sacrifice will go a long way and is an essential way to help us to plan for the future! If you haven’t completed a card (Or happened to leave it at home, or…accidentally threw it away lol) know that there are more cards out in the church gathering area. Please keep the continued success of our re-commitment in your prayers!
You will notice that after everyone has received communion and the tabernacle is closed and the priest/deacon is purifying the vessels at the credence table, there is a period of silence. Silence is really important in the liturgy as it is in life. Truly, we don’t get enough of it! We know that in silence, we can listen much better. Silence gives our souls a moment to breathe. I would invite us to use the period of silence to give God praise and listen to Him in your heart. Pay attention to your thoughts, emotions, and memories. Invite him to speak and he will do so. To those who seek, they will find!
