I am very grateful to Knight Sound and Lighting for their assistance and diligent work in installing our sound panels and new speakers in the church! I am so glad to hear that many people have clearly heard the difference in the space. Praise God, truly! Know that we also have hearing assist devices that we are looking to make available in the near future. Thank you again so much for your patience with this project!
A big congratulations to parishioner Dale Shafer who is ordained a deacon this weekend! As announced last weekend, Bishop Malesic has assigned Dale Shafer to our parish! We are very blessed to be receiving Deacon Dale, and I know that we are excited to receive him. Please keep him, his wife Laura, and his family in your prayers as he makes the transition into beginning ministry here.
Deacon Dale’s Mass of Thanksgiving will be at the 4:30pm Mass on May 10th! Please join for the liturgy as we welcome him and pray with him! There will be a heavy hors d’oeuvres reception in the school cafeteria after the liturgy.
Please keep our 2nd graders and their families in your prayers as they prepare to receive First Holy Communion Saturday May 10th in the morning! In the words of Pope Francis, “Indeed, the Eucharist is God’s response to the deepest hunger of the human heart, the hunger for authentic life, for, in the Eucharist, Christ Himself is truly in our midst, to nourish, console and sustain us on our journey.”
