Our 150th Anniversary year presses on into its second half.  Before you know it, this Jubilee year will be a beautiful pleasant memory. There is plenty of time however, to get involved in some of our remaining Events.

Our Church Enhancement is complete!  Welcome Back to Mass and to the Community of Holy Family in this beautifully renovated church building.

We have had so many great events recently.  The 4th of July parade as well as the return of the Parish Festival gave us the opportunity to clearly take our loving spirit of community – and share it with the much larger community around us.

We have many significant upcoming events. Mark your calendar now.

  • October   2               Fall Festival and Pancake Breakfast
  • October   8               Community Service Day – ending with an outdoor Mass
  • October 16               150th celebration Mass – with Bishop Malesic at 11:30 A.M. (live streamed also)

 

 

The Spirit Store to begin production

150th Anniversary Spirit Store 

The store is Now Open

Join in our 150th Anniversary celebration in an exciting and “visible” way, by purchasing  T-shirts, Sweatshirts, and more – from our Online Spirit Store!  Simply Go online to holyfamilyparma.itemorder.com to “shop” and order from the beautiful “Holy Family 150th” available items.  Show your pride wherever you go with this custom spirit wear!

The “online” store will be open from Saturday, March 19th through Monday, April 11th.

Ordering from the “Spirit Store” will close on April 11.  At that time production will begin.   You can choose to have your items shipped directly to your house, or to the Parish Office, where you can pick them up.

1260 The Rock – Catholic Radio Station

MARCH 20th LIVE AT  11:00 am  – Our own Holy Family Parish will be featured on the “Where We Worship” Program.

We have a great opportunity to share “Our Story” with the show’s host Bob Tayek.   We plan to talk history, as we look back at the 150 years we’ve been here.  We will also look forward to the wonderful future ahead of us here at Holy Family – one of Cleveland’s oldest and most enduring parishes.

Wine Tasting Event

Lenten Speaker – Trapper Jack

MONDAY MARCH 14th  –  at 6:30 pm  In the Chapel

Because of limited seating, you will need a ticket to attend the event.  Tickets are at NO COST, but will be required.  We will be handing out tickets to anyone interested in attending at our upcoming Masses.  See our volunteers at the doors of the cafeteria and chapel – after Mass on February 26/27, as well as March 5/6.  Tickets will also be available at the Parish office as long as they last.

If you’ve never had the opportunity to listen to Trapper Jack, please consider joining us for this very special presentation  –  “Mary at the foot of the Cross.”

 

 

 

First Event of the 150th Anniversary is coming

WINE TASTING!   March 19, 2022  7:00pm at the COSTELLO HALL

$37 per person (presale only)  Price includes 4 pours… meat, fruit, cheese, crackers, and chocolate that will all compliment the different wines.  Souvenir wine glasses as well.   Entertainment provided by Jeff Varga.  Sideboards will be sold.  Additional wine available for purchase, as well as beer at a minimum cost for non wine drinkers.

Tickets available at the Parish Office.  They will also be sold after Masses – February 26/27 and March 5/6.

Join your fellow parishioners in fellowship and fun as we kick off our Jubilee year.

 

 

Important Announcement

We are sorry to report that the February 12, 2022 Wine and Cheese Event, will be postponed from its original date, to a later date.  Once the new date is determined it will be communicated to you via all the normal Holy Family communication channels.

Any Tickets that have already been purchased for the February 12 date will be honored for the make up date.  If for some reason you purchased a ticket and can’t make the make up date your ticket price will be refunded.

Thank you all for your understanding.

While events are currently in the planning stages, we can announce at this time a major event.  SUNDAY OCTOBER 16, 2022 we will have a re-dedication of our Parish with a Mass with The Most Reverend Edward C. Malesic, Bishop of Cleveland,  in the newly enhanced Holy Family church.  Mark your calendar now for that great event.
