Congratulations to Deacon Joe Litke on his 40th Anniversary as a Deacon!!! Join us in the school cafeteria for a reception after the 11:30am Mass. A big THANK YOU to all those who helped to provide for the Mass and reception!
I am excited to share with you that we found a new Director for our Preschool. Ms. Brittany Dimas, formerly a teacher in our childcare and who has a son in Holy Family School, started as Director on Monday, June 15th. Ms. Dimas will oversee both the childcare and preschool until the end of the month and will lead as the Director of the relicensed preschool on July 1st. We are excited for Ms. Dimas to lead our preschool with her knowledge and experience in early childhood education both inside and outside of our community.
We are also excited to welcome Mrs. Martha Gorman as our new Athletic Director for this year. She comes with great knowledge and leadership experience, and her daughter Dacey will be in 5th grade at HFS. We are excited to have both positions filled by such great members of our community. Please keep them all in your prayers in this time of transition.
We are in need of volunteers for our parish’s Summerfest weekend. Please go to the website and click the volunteer link to see the needed spots for the weekend. While there are not as many people needed as did the 4-day festival, this is still an essential community event for our parish.
Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and those in a fatherly role! To quote G.K. Chesterton, “God chooses ordinary men for fatherhood to accomplish his extraordinary plan.” Fatherhood is indeed a gift, challenge, and essential element of our world and God’s plan for humanity. May we pray that men, young and old, may embrace the fatherhood God is calling them to.
