Thanks to all who have come to the Why We’re Catholic book study! There have been some great conversations and questions on the first few chapters, and I know that it will continue as we go! Our next session will be Feb. 17th @ 7pm. This next session will have more conversation about the chapters with some commentary from me. I think I learned this last week that there is quite a lot of ground to cover in 60 min! Lol For those who have asked about the daytime sessions, we are trying to figure out if those are possible. Know that if we are unable to provide for daytime sessions, there WILL be a weekly podcast (short internet radio show) with myself and another parishioner that will go through all of the chapters.
That being said, I know that I was away for the priest conference last week (Truly, more work than rest), but I am taking a little time away from February 3rd-10th. It has been a great blessing to go on a ski trip with a group of priest friends the past few years and this year we are headed to Park City, Utah! Before the busy Lenten season, it is a great time for some rest to eat/cook together, pray together, and ski together.
I wanted you to know that we are coming closer to our sound system project commencing! We have received needed approval from the Diocese for the project and are getting the contract finalized. Once that happens, we will be able to place the order for the new speakers and other needed components and begin work as soon as we are able. Again, thank you for your patience with us with this project!
