This week from Tuesday to Friday, the priests of the diocese will be gathering at Sawmill Creek in Sandusky for our every other year Convocation. This is a great few days for us to come together for prayer and fraternity, and to hear talks on various topics. As Fr. Kavishe attended his community’s convocation over the summer, he will be able to provide daily morning Masses this week.
While we have not yet been able to make any major adjustments to the sound system, we are working with a few companies to soon arrive at the best solution. Know that we will share with you the plan as soon as we can. Thank you so very much for your patience!
We are so grateful to the substitute organists (Tom, Kiersten, and Mary Rose) who have been helping us these past few weeks and will continue to do so. While we are beginning our search for a new music director, this process may take some time as we want our efforts to lead to the right person for our parish. Please pray for our efforts and for the person to whom God will lead us.
Lastly, for your awareness, Deacon Joe had hip surgery this last week. While he is recovering now, he will likely be away from ministry for a few months. Please keep him and all those who have recently and will be undergoing surgery in your prayers for their healing, peace of mind, awareness of Jesus’ closeness to them, and also for those who care for them in their recovery.
