We are LESS THAN 11 DAYS OUT to the end of our surveying for our pastoral planning with Catholic Leadership Institute!!! Please if you haven’t yet filled out the survey, do so this week! Lastly, on Holy Thursday during the homily, I mentioned a unique aspect of my chalice. Very gratefully, as I was nearing ordination, my mom’s family (1 of 8 children) gifted me their parents wedding rings so that I could attach them to the base of my chalice. It beautifully reminds me that real life is about sacrificial love – whether in marriage or the priesthood. I am grateful to their yes and my parents yes to life and love and I am grateful to remember it at Mass.
