RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)
Adult Religious Education RCIA-
Becoming a Catholic Today
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a Christian faith journey through which new members are welcomed into the Catholic Church. RCIA is a living experience of the church for adults who were not raised Catholic and want to know more about the Catholic faith. It allows learning by sharing the faith with others who are on the same journey and with fully initiated members of the Church.
RCIA is for adults who are not Catholic, but would like to learn more about the Church, with the possibility of becoming Catholic.
The sessions are conducted jointly with St. Bartholomew Church and Holy Family Church. The RCIA process begins in September and continues until spring. Though the commitment seems long, it is an opportunity to pray, to learn, to share, and to grown in faith. If you or someone you know would like to know more about the RCIA, please contact Holy Family Parish (440) 842-5533.
